Every month you receive a letter from a character inside the investigation — about two pages — plus one or two printable extras: a map tile, a collectible plate, a clipping, a verdict card. Print what you want. Keep the rest on screen.
The Two-Lock ending
Letters 1–5 plant everything a sharp reader needs for who and how. The decisive why and final proof surface only in letter 6 — for a reason that exists inside the story. Stay subscribed, or buy the whole season up front.
How a six-letter case works
Same shape every season. New victim, new town, new cast.
- Month 1The Summons. Something has happened. You’re cast as consultant, confidant, or stranger — and asked a question you can’t yet answer.
- Month 2The Cast. Suspects arrive with motives and alibis. You form a theory. That’s the point.
- Month 3The Complication. An alibi fails. Your front-runner takes damage.
- Month 4The Reversal. The case is not the case you thought it was.
- Month 5The Narrowing. Two names left. Commit to a verdict before the last envelope.
- Month 6The Solution. Lock Two opens. Full reconstruction. Then a quiet mention of another envelope, somewhere else.
